Brighton and Hove: a Circuit of Sanctuary

On Sunday 12 March 2023, Revd Dr Inderjit Bhogal, the lead person of the Church of Sanctuary movement, presented Church of Sanctuary awards to five Methodist Churches in the Brighton and Hove Circuit at a service in the seaside city of Brighton and Hove.

Inderjit Bhogal OBE is a minister in the Methodist church and a leading theologian. He was the first person from a minority ethnic background to be appointed President of the Methodist Conference, in 2000 - 2001 and he is a founder of City of Sanctuary (UK).
